Chillin' with Jason and some unexpected friends

I hung out with Jason today, it was pretty spontaneous.... I recieved a call out of the blue, askin if I could spare an hour..... I had work at 3pm, so Jason picked me up and we drove to Blacktown... He is working at Inter-Continental Hotel in the city, he needed to buy a white long sleeved shirt and black trousers for work.... so that was our excursion today..hahaha
Man he is a funny bloke I can count on him for a good chuckle!!! goofy mofo!!! lol! I can also count on him for flash back music. .....especially when were in his car.......you gotta love the 80s tunes!!! Jason is an connoisseur when it comes to that...... who needs 101.7 FM when you have JASON!!!!! lol!!!

I dragged his arse to Target so we, or should I say, so I could look at homewares stuff..... I filled him in on my endeavour to redecorate my room....so we looked at lamp shades and shelfs.....
I did find something I liked...but im scared that its not going to match my furniture in my room.... Maybe I'll get a second opinion on it when I see Anna tomorrow!

We bumped into Lorabel and Lucky....naughty girl jigging school yet again.... so we sat and chatted with them about their up and coming formal and Lorabel's issues with finding shoes for her dress....

Room Changes Part 2 & Anna's Blog

Man Im so tired from work today...I had the late shift again....all good..... but the great thing was time flew...... I really wanted to get out of there!!!!...... I was freaking out because the car park was empty...it had the perfect recipe for a murder montage..... but yea man ...pretty wacked!!!!

But yes....today I once again fixed my room.... I got rid of old text books and other novels..... I switched alot of things..and threw out alot of things...so now there is a bit more space...but i really want to buy new furniture...but im not sure what...and I really want to paint a feature wall.....maybe yellow..how cool...hahaha...nice and bright!!!! or maybe a pastel colour....who knows....I need more inspiration........



Tim and I went into Freedom last week...they had really cool furniture...but it was too dark....very winter-ish...not my thing.....

but I did end up finding a theme...... boho-eclectic.....but I might end up changing my mind again because I lack decision making skills! booo!!!!

Anna and I spoke today....we were talking to each other last night too on msn...... but yeah she is full getting into her blog...she's fresh...but her intro was really good I liked it..... so if anyone wants to read it, theres a link on the side!!!
Man I love Anna! she's the best...... one of my closests mates!!! one love sister!!!! Like she said we can talk about anything and everything!!!! she's a second sister to me!!!!! aawwww man I remember our Catherine McAuley days!!! hahaha.....she said I dogged her when I first met her...but I was just sooooo nervous and not paying attention because I was starting a new school..man Year 11 & 12 was great!!! (not the school though, my friends made up for it...hehehehe) but yeah....man I remember how she would trip over at least three times a day, if not three times, maybe more...hhahahahha... She is a smart cookie...and dont let her lost-ness fool you!!!!! she gots the smarts people!!!!! looks can be very deceiving!!!!!!

I ended up buying new bedsheets at Target!!! it was really cheap!!! and its nice too.... it was $159.95 down to $70.... so I was chearing!!! yay!!! but we had to lag around this big ass bag...not cool...hahahahah.....Mara met up with us later and she gave us the car.... Tim and I decided to have a Arthouse DVD night, we went to Blockbuster and hired out really random films...one love... i live for arthouse flicks! We watched 9 Songs on friday night!!!! man its really graphic it shows penetration and everything...we were like what the fuck!!!!!! Tim said it was the same director who did Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, now that was a good film!!! i really like that movie its one of my favourites!!!!The very many DVDs we borrowed....yay for Arthouse films!

We decided to eat at the RSL at Blacktown..hehhehe ...lovin Buffets!!!!

Man they have the best ice-cream and apple crumble....its the shit!!!!!!

So on Saturday night I went down to Tim's house and we ate at Pho (noodles!!!!! yum) and watched Christiane F. It was good..it dragged on a bit....maybe because it was a 70s/ 80s film.....but all in all i liked it...It's about a girl who gets caught up in the Berlin drug scene...and she is only 14 years old...... it goes to show that nothing much has changed ...generation wise..... I remember when i was 13 /14 y.o a few of my friends were already on drugs and stuff......The movie is similar to Thirteen...but a 70s version

Today I changed my room...I moved my bed around and shit...so now it looks really spacious!!! Im going through a re-decoration phase at the moment....so im quite obssessed with all those home magazines, IKEA & Freedom catalogues!!! hahahahah.........and thats where new bedsheets come in......hehehe...i bought polka dot ones too, with Anna when we went out on Thursday...hahahaha!!!!.... im a deco junkie ....

Saw 2

Tim and I watched Saw 2 today....man I think I am mentally unstable now!!!! It is the most gruesome movie....I watched the first movie and I found that disturbing too. But after watching the second part, it further validated how morbid it is....It sort of reminds me of Marilyn Manson music video clips...hahahaha....

Tim loved it...initially I was too chicken shit to watch it because I didnt want to see the weird scenarios.....but I have to admit, it is a very smart film in terms of the plot..... but the "games" each person/ character has to endure (to hopefully survive) is a pretty traumatic visual experience!

But I do recommend this film for all movie viewers....... if you loved the first film....you'll really appreciate the sequel!!!!!!

We went to Cambridge Park to watch Anna's grand final game. I swear it was the most intense game.... the ref was shit!!!!! everyone was getting the shits with him!!!! man I was screaming my head off!!! They ended up losing by 2 points!!!! Their team mate shot a goal when it was 9 seconds down....half court shot...pretty cool...but if only they won it with that shot......but at least she got a cheap ass K-mart trophy...hahahahah...all good one love!

I cant seem to shake this feeling

CAREER!!!!The very word paralyses me!!!!

I was on the phone with my dear friend Anna and we spoke on the topic of careers.....
I realise I have a few friends that have already gained employment in their ideal jobs or something relating to what they have studied in Uni....
I have this fear that I will forever be stuck in retail (not that theres anything wrong with that) and never get into my "dream" job..... I feel like I am in this stationary position, which I have no hope of getting out of....
It is actually quite daunting when you really take your time and think about your future. It's not as easy as choosing what flavoured ice-cream you want (but then again I still have trouble doing that!)
The present is great and you live in the now, no care in the world, it's just you and whatever your doing at that time and in that place.....but then you have to realise you need to snap out of that mentality...you can't be 18 years old forever......

Maybe Im going through one of my phases....quarter life crisis as one friend puts it!!!

ALAS, as Anna said to me "there is a time for everything" and I guess my time will come..(oh enlightenment come sooner!)

I guess this is what being in your 'Twenties' is all about......coming to grips with who you are and what you want to be......trial and error.......such a rollercoaster indeed..... but I guess the main factor is patience and contentment.......

I hope that when an opportunity arises I see it and take it on board and I hope I dont fail to notice it.....

Anna's House Warming & The "New York" Fire Escape

Last night I went to my friend's, Anna, house warming in Darlinghurst. I have to say her apartment is really cool!!! 2 big bedrooms white as white/red door/ bayview/ dangerous fire escape apartment!!!!
Speaking of the fire escape, it was a cross between New York apartment block! I felt like i was in another world... it was cool as....but it was very steep indeed and it was not very sturdy, you could tell the wood had it's fair share of wear and tear!!! yes it's made out of wood. who would of thought. It defeats the purpose of a fire escape you think it would be made out of steel. It would burn before the building!!! hahahahah. Tim, JR, Mara, Simone, Jason and I were all out there just chilling out, eating m & m's and throwing them at the next building....lol....and freaking out because of Sims antics...she was drunk as it was funny! but scary coz she was hanging off the side of the fire escape and we all thought she was going to plummet to her death!!! she even pulled out one of the wooden planks...see thats how safe it was ...hahahaha....

My Phone

I lost my mobile phone last night when I went to Kink @ Arthouse with Clarette and April....surprisingly I was cool with it, I wasn't the usual stressed out freak!!!! Well looks like there wont be photos anymore on this blog...not to worry where there is a will there is a way...hahahaha.....
I felt bad because Anna was suppose to meet up with us and the poor bugger must of been trying to call my phone!!!!

its a date

Tim and I went to the city again on Wednesday...to go shopping...man were bad! Spending the non existent money!!! but yea tim bought a pair of jeans again...Tsubi ones..... man sorryyy high roller!!!!! lol...but they did look nice!! I picked up a pair of shoes I put on hold last week..they finally came in ...yay! hehhehe

After the city we went back to Tim's house and chilled, he bought the Star Wars dvd and we watched that all day... man I love Yoda....he is soooo cool..he got the force goin on.....heheheh!!!
It was pretty cool, arse fartin around...we had a mad D&M.... regarding our relationship ans stuff...it was great..... just insights on how we think on certain topics in terms of ourselves and us.

Yesterday was soooo hhhhhoooottttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I walked to the station to meet up with Tim at Blacktown..... man I was sweating hardcore!!!!! you can feel Summer coming!!!!
Tim and I were at Blacktown...just bumin!!!! and plus I had work at 5:30pm....boooo!
We watched Elizabethtown....man Orlando Bloom is one fine fella!!!! MARRY ME!!!!
But it was a really good movie... I thought it was going to be about Kirsten and Orlando all the way through.... but it wasnt.... which was good... it was good to see the "romance" being incorporated in the bigger picture of life in general: family, death, failure and success..... 10 point for that movie I say!!!!
