THE xx

As you guys may have noticed already, I change the music on this blog every so often.
I don't think I have ever written a post on the artists I play. But I decided to write a short post.

Ok. here I go..

THE xx

My flat mate played them one morning, a couple of months ago. The pit of my stomach started
to churn, my mind wandered off to wonderland and I started to create mini movies in my head.
THE xx being the soundtrack to my minds daydreams. My soul felt their sound, my body felt
them. They truly have the most beautiful music that I have heard in a while. Their melancholy
voices compliment each other, as does the sound of the base and guitar . Every time I listen
to them I am hypnotized.

Listen to them, they will send you on a beautiful trans.

La danse

I have been trying to get the DVD of La danse - Le ballet de l'Opéra de Paris.
So I have been thinking about ballet lately....
I know, random.

Let them eat cake.... or Cupcakes

My room mate came home with these gems last night. Courtesy of The Hummingbird Bakery
in South Kensington, but I believe there is one in Covent Garden too.

Don't you just love cupcakes? Their devil icing and coloured sprinkles lure you in.
Damn them for being so awesome. Damn them, because I wasn't able to taste their goodness.
Because I'm sick. Cue the violins, boohoo for me. Don't you hate it when you are sick, and your
taste buds decide to go bye bye. Well regardless, I ate those cupcakes anyway.
I must give it to the Hummingbird Bakery, their presentation skills and packaging are superb.
It's always the little details that add that oomph factor.

Oh, I'll upload pictures of the Courchevel trip soon.
