Indie Cult Vintage

This chic has the raddest ebay store EVER!

Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 Menswear

I like the preppy look of these pieces. Not only are the clothes hot, so are the boys modelling
them, major eye candy.

Really digging theses pieces from Lanvin Spring 2012....I think it's more to do with that fact

Valley Girl

Quite surprised at how much I'm digging VG's campaign shots. Maybe because
I'm currently thinking of fur and turbans.

Elle Fanning

Super Cute and in Super 8, a film which I really want to go and see. I feel as though
the trailer gives off an E.T vibe. Might be the E.T of this generation.... we'll see.

Winter warmers

Lovely winter warmers. I finally got up the courage to head down to Zara and
came out with this bad boy. It was one of those impulse purchases.

Zara is totally manic, I think Tim and I were in there for a total of 10 minutes.
It reminds me of Topshop in London, where you walk in and want to get the hell
out of there because it's so hectic. Don't get me wrong, I love both places, but I'd rather
it be a pleasant shopping experience.
I have to say Zara is pretty awesome, the mania still hasn't died down and people still line up
to get in. Here's a tip, enter from Men's or Children's wear... no queues.
I wonder what the Zara effect will have on Melbourne....

Art Gallery of NSW

Art-Gallery-of-NSW

My friend and I decided to go to the Art Gallery of NSW to see the new Contemporary
Art floor a few weeks back. The above was my favourite piece by artist Ugo Rondinone.
You really have to go there and experience it. There were speakers in the glass with a
looped conversation representing miscommunication. The vibe of the work was quite unsettling,
it felt voyeuristic in a way. I felt quite isolated in the space even though there were people
walking in and out of the room to see the piece. Which I guess is what you are suppose to feel,
as the artist deals with themes of isolation and disenchantment.

I'm really drawn to art that deals with themes of lonliness, hurt and death. I like the darkness of those
types of subject matter.

Silverchair

Tomorrow by Silverchair.
A classic, from their first album Frog Stomp. I was in the 6th grade when
this album came out. One of the best Aussie bands to ever come out.
