leaving on a jet plane

We dropped our parents off at the airport this morning.... they are going to the P.I again..... lucky bastards.... I received a text message from my mum and their flight was delayed for 3 hours..... trusty old Philippines Airlines, gotta love em.

Meanwhile, I mailed my graduation papers today. OMG it is so costly...... the ceremony, the dress, the photos.... plaques.... etc etc..... who would of thought...... oh well it is well worth it.... it only happens once.

I'm Graduating on September the 27th at 3pm..... woot.... yay for me ....

I was reading my diary the other day and I so happened to open it on the page where I was having a dilema with uni.....

I was originally studying Bachelor of Liberal Studies, majoring in Marketing and Spanish....
Then the uni decided to abolish the course.... I was given the option to continue or change to a different degree.... My preference was Comm Advertising..
It was a very hard time for me, very stressful, I seeked a lot of advice from family and friends..... I was convicted on dropping out of uni and just working full time.

But, I ended up changing course Bachelor of Communication- Advertising, I really loved it..!

It was was weird reading that diary entry... it was 2 years ago.... it was a fork in the road for me..... a choice that would ultimately change the course of my life....
I'm glad I took Anna and Tim's adice to continue studying..... now I am GRADUATING.... I feel really acomplished! :)

Things you shouldn't do before going to rock concerts

I went to see Bloc Party last night.....awesome!!! (well from what I can remember)...

Anyhow.... I would advise the following:

1) Don't play paintball before hand.......
I had to wake up at 5am... and meet my cousins for paintball because it was his birthday..... OMG my muscles were killing me.... I couldnt even walk up the stairs... my ribs were hurting... my legs were hurting.... I had bruises on my arms and legs!!! ouch...
But I have to say it was jolly good fun, and yes it did hurt when you got shot..... the first place I got hit was the back of my head....

2) Don't drink too much alcohol
Tim, Mara and I had dinner and red wine before the concert..... then we had more red wine when we were at the concert..... I ended up spilling wine all over me jeans and shoes..... and Tim's shoes... o00ps... sorry mate! Suffice to say, I was pretty drunk..... the concert finished in a flash.... It felt like they only sang 3 songs and then it was over..... But I do remember jumping up and down singing my heart out.... and also jumping up and down with randoms and singing with them... and getting smashed and trampled on.... it was great fun...... but the icing on the cake was watching Mara jump up and down, hugging randoms and wipping her sweat on them.... trust me she sweats ALOT!!! so that was funny.....
I couldn't see over the very tall people... it sucks being short.... I like to think I'm tall, but in reality im short.... I couldn't even see them on stage...... I had to jump as high as I could just to see Kele.... i love his hair....

OMG

Oh my god indeed. I just heard the Lily Allen and Busta remix.... I'm not really keen. Kaiser Chiefs is way better..... they always know how to rock out... i heart Kaiser Chiefs
