J & V

"Will you be my homie?" was part of my mates J and V's wedding vow. We all laughed out loud when they said this. It was quite perfect really, and sort of sums up their relationship and them as my friends; you are guaranteed to laugh (a lot), no bullshit and straight up people. I love these guys, and I owe it to the city of London for introducing me to these two folks (and my old flat mate Rodders). And tonight we fly out for J's birthday weekend, Adios.

Lomo Love: Thailand Part 1, Ao Nang

It was 10 years ago when I first went to Thailand, 19 and I had no idea about shit. Now I like to think I am 10 years wiser, and a hell of a lot travel savvier. Thailand was somewhat of a gate way travel drug, that further fuelled my teenage dreams of wanderlust.

Cockatoo Island: Part 1

I finally developed 3 rolls of colour film via Photo Reisel. These were shot at Cockatoo Island during last years Biennale. My Ricoh 35zf is beginning to be my new favourite camera. I normally roll with my Holga, Nikon D5000 or Canon AE1. I like the contrast grainy images it produces. I think the previous owner must have dropped the camera. Photos that I've shot in the sun, produces this brilliant red light leak on the left hand side of the image.

Girls: Moy

This is Moy, I met her light years ago in my early twenties when Funk Trust was the place to be. At the time she was more of an acquaintance. I got to know here better when we both relocated to the UK a few years ago, there was a lot of fun drunken shenanigans, conversations about art and design, and debates about Capitalism. Not only a pretty face, she is whip smart, is an Architect, has some serious kick arse illustration skills, as well as being philanthropic. About a year or two ago she travelled to India and volunteered at the Good News School Bus in Kolkata. When she came back to Sydney, Moy had a photography exhibition called 'The light in me honors the light in You', which was a collection of photographs from her trip to India. All photographs sold was donated back to the Good News School Bus. Pretty amazing right.

Have you seen Robin Thicke's video clip for Blurred Lines? Featuring Pharrell and T.I? The uncensored version is the one to watch. Hot naked model babes. Which leads me to my new girl crush, Emily Ratajkowski. A Polish American model super babe. I can go on for days about this girl, face, lips, body, boobs. I really hope that her model career sky rockets from being in Robin Thicke's video clip, and if she isn't a VS Angel yet, I hope that a Victoria's Secret model contract comes her way.
