Obsession

Who has seen the movie ‘Fear’? Starring Mark Whalberg and Reese Witherspoon. You know the “boyfriend of your dreams 6 pack and all… turns psycho obsessed boyfriend from hell”.
I really enjoyed that movie; I remember the first time I watched it I think I was about 14 or 15 years old. My sister and I would daydream about Mark and those abs of steel (hot!) and we use to wonder what it would be like if we were to have future psycho boyfriends from hell (thank goodness it never happened). Every time I hear the song ‘Wild Horses’ by the Rolling Stones I think of that movie…. And I never look at roller coasters that same way again..haha.

Obsession, not only a fragrance by Calvin Klein, but also the domination of one's thoughts or feelings by a persistent idea, image, desire, etc as dictionary.com plainly states it.
I’m pretty sure at one point in your life you have experienced a small (or massive) obsession. Maybe it was during your teenage years (high school crush) your favourite food (chocolate) or something really random.
Someone I know is experiencing a form of obsession, he isn’t the one doing the obsessing, but he is the desire, the image, the persistent idea in that obsessed persons mind.
At first he found it sweet…cute even… that someone was throwing flattery towards his way… but I think that email sealed the deal for the tag of ‘OMG you f*cking psycho b*tch’.
It’s funny how ones desires can consume them, it’s intriguing how that particular thought or idea can in some ways dominate how they act or feel.
I guess in the movie ‘Fear’ love was the motivating factor for his obsession.
For anyone, I assume the instigator could range from anything from love, envy, jealousy even hate…

As Calvin Klein’s Obsession fragrance puts it ‘Between love and madness lies obsession”
