The first time I saw Erin Wasson was on the cover of The Face magazine, March 2001 # 50 to be exact (I still have it stashed away on my shelf). On the cover she is rocking a vintage swimsuit by Bodymap and a flight jacket by Hugo Boss. Hand on hips, right shoulder 'pop, lock and dropin'... Cleopatra kohl rimmed eyes with a kick; topped off with a ice queen dont-fuck-with-me stare... androgynous undercut hairstyle; side part and flipped to the right (Victoria Beckhams doo' fails by comparison).
The pout (trademark) the mole (trademark)... as Tyra Banks would say "she looks FIERCE" indeed... All I have to say about that cover is "girls who are boys, who like boys to be girls, who do boys like they're girls, who do girls like they're girls"
She rips shit up with The Face cover!!!! love her!

That is when my girl crush started ...2001.. now fast forward to 2008 and Miss Wasson is still ripping shit up! Stylist for Alexander Wangs Spring 2008 Ready To Wear Collection, collaborating with RVCA (Erin Wasson for RVCA) and now her own jewellery LOWLUV. Whats not to love about this self confessed skater girl (she has a half pipe in her backyard) .... as she puts it "I'm a tomboy in high heels"...
