Outre Gallery

I haven't been to this Gallery in years. So much so I didn't realise that they relocated
to Crown St. The space is two stories and pretty freaken rad.
They have new Kozyndan peices too. The above is their new piece 3K for the original,
or was it 6k? I can't remember. 'Tossed' is the name.
It was pretty amazing. Photos of paintings never really does it justice, seeing it in the flesh
is always better. Very intricate, subtle, beautiful strokes and curves of pastel colours.
Waves, just like skulls and gypsy head illustrations, makes me hyperventilate with happiness.

Visit Outre's website here.

Lust for Life

I never forget a blog or a face . My only down fall is that I forget to check blogs
on a regular basis because I read too many. That's what happened with Lust for Life,
I need to keep tabs on this girl.
marina siero owns one rad blog. She gave me some travel advice when I was
heading to Spain. I love her images and posts, a sort of carefree rock and roll life.
All I need to do is brush up and learn Spanish and keep checking fr new posts.

Go visit her and say Hola!

Art Love: Flutter Lyon

Flutter Flyon: AudioVisual Splendour Maker

Law of attraction is a funny thing. For the last couple months I've been thinking about Rorschach
test as art work. I've been meaning to buy an VAPD for a while to actually create my own diary of
Rorschach art.

So anyway, I was in the car with my sister a few days ago and we went past a studio that had the
Rorschach type of art. I almost fainted at the pure awesomeness of the artwork. It's really inspiring
to see that kind of work. I like the dark elements of it, blotchy symmetry.

Cara Delevingne.
I remember seeing this pretty bird's face on ASOS. She has the kind of beauty where you
can't stop looking at her.

Nude

Really digging nude right now and the casual style of each outfit. I've always been a fan
of British birds Lily Donaldson and Rosie Huntington-Whitely.

Status Magazine

This cover is pretty rad I must say. Status Magazine has come a long way. I remember the first time
Miss V showed me the media kit 3 or 4 months before its maiden issue. I remember thinking "f*ck it's
going to be off the chain". And I was right.
It was a bi- monthly magazine, but now it's monthly. *High Five* all round. I remember when I was in
Colette in Paris, I remember seeing one of their issues my mind was yelling "HECK YES!!".
World's away in Europe, hailing from illa Manila, stocked in one of the most amazing stores in the
world....where it belongs.

Word

Hip Hop was introduced to me by my sister and cousins when I was in primary school.
Rock and indie has always been my first music genre love. In the earlier stages of listening to
hip hop, I always had a hard time listening to it, I thought that the majority of what's
said is cash, money, car, hoes. When I was 13 I had a massive debate with my cousin about it.
Obviously,  the aforementioned is not rapped all the time.

The two songs below are really amazing. They like many others, are the reasons why I still listen
to it. It reminds me of the listening to spoken word at Troy Bar in London.

I respect Hip Hop, because at it's core, it's about truth.

JetBlackHeart

So I'm currently addicted to Jetblackheart.
She posts such an array of images that satisfies my visual needs.

On another note. I shall be posting a few pics of my time in Melbourne about a
month ago, I was there for my cousins wedding. My first trip since I got back from
abroad.

There are interesting things coming up which I am excited for, took some photo's yesterday
and I can't wait to post them.

Ronac Art Center

RONAC ART CENTER from WYD Productions on Vimeo.

So much good sh*t is happening in Manila right now. I wish I was there, to breath in all the creative
air, to feel my lungs fill up and let that oxygen scurry through my veins.
I always knew that this type of centre would emerge. It was waiting in the wings and when the time
was right, it exploded onto the scene. And rightly so, a hub for local creatives to run amok and do
what they do best.
