ASOS Babe

Not only do I like this outfit from ASOS, but I also love this girl's face. Quit possibly the new Cara Delevigne of ASOS, I can't stop looking at her pretty face and rapunzel locks. I hope she will be the next big thing in the modeling world. This bird has inspired me to grow my hair out and maybe run around in the field with daisy chains in my hair.

Happy Friday!

French Quarter. New Orleans

French Quarter. New Orleans

So, I am alive if you are wondering. I've been holed up at work, long hours and weekends at the office.
In saying that, as crazy and at times stressful at it is. I enjoy it, a lot actually. I've only been at this new role for about 3 months now. All my co-workers are rad too.

Anyhow, I thought I would start the weekend with this picture from New Orleans. Remember my Philippines/ Japan/ NYC trip... New Orleans was the last leg. I'll post more pictures and a story later. For the meantime... enjoy the summer night and fairy lights.

P.S I have an Instagram account! Come say G'day at Raver_Ria.

New York Photo Diary Part 4: MOMA

You thought my America photo diary was done aye? Well not quite, I've been crazy busy at work and I haven't been able to rummage through my very many photos. But I made a proactive decision to finally get around to it. So below are photos from MOMA, where dreams come true.

My sister and I had an art day and pretty much spent hours in there. We finished off by eating at the infamous Halal Bros street cart, Chicken over rice baby. YUM! Anyhow enjoy the art love below.... Klimt, Monet, Pollock and Haring are my favs. Oh and also the abundant silver wrapped lollies by artist Felix Gonzalez- Torres. It gets replenished everyday and people are encouraged to eat it, which I gladly obliged.

Neon Bible

Images via sallieromance

Neon goodness, I currently own nothing high visual in my wardrobe. Except for shoes that was gifted to me many birthdays ago, which I shall be taking for a spin in the near future. I think neon would drown me out, so accessories would be the better alternative.

Today's NYC photo diary post is a mish mash of sorts, mainly centred around Brooklyn; Brooklyn Bridge, Williamsburg and Brooklyn Flea. With a Dash of LES graffiti and Tiny's Giant love, Top of the Rock night shots and an homage to Lennon in the form of the Imagine monument in Central Park.

Around the corner from where we stayed was a store called Economy Candy, where all the sweets of your childhood is located. I seriously could not believe the selection they had, I was gobsmacked. It was a diabetics dream (or nightmare). Hence, the basketball card shots. Remember the gum + basketball card pack combos? The boy's and I lost our shit when we saw them. Any respectable child of the 90s had a basketball card collection. So it was quite rad that my cousin got the creme dela creme known as Chicago Bulls fame Michael Jordan and Scotty Pippen All Star Cards.

The last couple of shots was taken from Brooklyn Flea, one of the raddest flea markets I've been to. They had such a lovely selection of vintage furniture, clothes and knick knacks under the sun. I picked up an amazing suede tote bag that I've been smashing around since I've got back, as well as a brilliant pair of vintage Ralph Lauren sandals. Winning.
