My cousin's wedding

Mayette'e Wedding

Mayette'e Wedding

Mayette'e Wedding

This is long over due! My cousin, Mayette, had an amazing wedding in Melbourne in March 2011.
Which my tribe of a family attended, we basically occupied the whole plane. She had the most amazing
dress (I still haven't got over it) that was custom made, she had to get the pleats chemically done.
She married in two churches and the reception was held at a boat house. Pretty awesome if you ask me.
My cousin, sister and I were the bridesmaids. We all couldn't help get tearing as she walked down the
aisle. She has gone through a lot in her life and I was proud and happy to witness a beautiful celebration
of honor and love that she and her husband deserve.

Good Food Crap Drawing

These images are from my friends blog. It's pure radness.
Quite fitting really, as she use to work for Australian Gourmet Traveller as the Head Designer of the
magazine. She is our go to girl for restaurant referrals and an all round foodie. She moved to New York
with her man at the beginning of the year, which I'm really proud of because it was one of her goals.
Anna is one of the coolest people that you'll ever meet. You know those type of girls that are
just laid back, has rad style and nonchalantly zen. That's her.

So check out her tumblr, Good Food Crap Drawing, and follow her food travels around NYC.

See you in...

Yep, it's been booked for April 2012. A long way away but I'm excited for it regardless.

The boy and I booked all our accommodation in Japan last night. On the last leg of the
trip we will meet with my cousin, his gf, my sister and her bf in NYC.
I also hope to meet up with my mates in Japan and New York, fingers cross our stars align.

So if you have any travel tips, must see/ do/ eat... hit me up!

oohh she's only 17

Photographs by Jeannine Tan of ppppapertissue. I've been seeing her photos on the blogoshpere
of late. So I was curious to see her body of work. And how amazing it is indeed and she is only 17.
There is a dark hue in her images that I respond to. Somewhat pensive, haunting and beautiful at the
same time, wake walking in a lucid reality.

Cobalt

I particulary like the blue and blush combo. Both colours seamlessly compliment each other. No?

Blush

I dont think I'll ever get tired of this colour.

The Ballad of John & Yoko: Falling In Love by Ethan Russell

“Anybody who claims to have some interest in me as an individual artist, or even as part of The Beatles,
has absolutely misunderstood everything I ever said if they can’t see why I’m with Yoko…. If they can’t
see that, they don’t see anything. “ - John Lennon

Not too long ago in May/June, Blender Gallery had a photo exhibition of John and Yoko by Ethan Russell.
You can see the intensity of their relationship on stills. It's quite remarkable and in a way, aspirational.
It's rare to see that kind of love; beautiful, mind, body, soul consuming love. I'll always be intrigued by
their relationship, the stuff that legends and icons are made of.
