Invader's Low Fi exhibition @ Lazarides

Lazarides Gallery is on 11 Rathbone Place, London.
I suggest that you all take a peep at this gallery because Invader, the 40 year old Parisian graffiti
artist is having his first solo show. Invader, I'm sure you have seen his work; little Space Invader
tiled tags around the city and the world. He has one tagged on the Hollywood sign. crafty.

Mara and I went to see the exhibition the other day and we were not disappointed. Most of his
art is quite interactive and brilliant. Let me explain why.
Rubik's Cubes, yes that's the secret. He recreated album covers by using Rubik's Cubes. And
it's pretty amazing. When you first look at a piece you just see these pixels of colour, when you
squint you can somewhat make out what it is, and then when you use your camera on your
phone or a digital camera, the image is clearer. It's probably one of my favourite graffiti artist
exhibtitions to date; interactive and unique.

There is also a tetris type installation, sketches and as well as a massive Rubik's Cube hanging
from the ceiling.

Have your camera or camera phone ready, look at it through those devices when viewing the
photographs I took below.
